Craft

Artefacts Crafted from Textiles

  • NC#23.07 Baker Boy (Tailoring) My wife enjoys Baker Boys, so for her birthday I crafted her one.
  • NC#26.01 Smock (Tailoring) A birthday gift for my wife, part of a larger on-going project to tailor an entire Henrician outfit. This was entirely sewn by hand and with period materials.

Artefacts Crafted from Wood

  • NC#20.07 Flute Mount (Cabinetry) A thank-you gift for my sister-in-law.
  • NC#21.01 Coffee Table (Cabinetry) My first proper foray into cabinetry with a coffee table made for my wife's birthday.
  • NC#21.02 Key Tray (Cabinetry) A house-warming gift for my sister-in-law.
  • NC#23.02 Workshop Desk (Cabinetry) I needed a multi-purpose computer workstation where I can work-from-home, as well as interact with my homelab. This desk is hand-crafted and finished with French Polish. It uses aestheically designed curves for ergonomics, and includes a built in hot-swap for work and home machines so that they can both use my full KVM setup.
  • NC#23.03 Altimeter Stand (Cabinetry) A birthday gift for my mother-in-law.
  • NC#22.01 Shop Back Door (Carpentry) To make my workshop habitable I needed to fix up the back door which was rotten. This new door is a post-and-stile door framed by hand complete with a double-glazed unit and a cat-flap, all in shop colours.
